MyWay+

Did you know that Transport Canberra is introducing a new ticketing system called MyWay+?

MyWay+ will allow you to travel on buses and light rail the same way you do now, but with additional ticketing options like tapping on with a debit card or smartphone.

For those who have a smartphone, ticketing and journey planning with real-time passenger information will be available on the new MyWay+ app. You will still be able to travel on a MyWay+ travel card and with tickets purchased through ticket vending machines.

Over the next few months Transport Canberra will slowly implement the changes ready for the switch which is expected to happen in November 2024. You can keep up to date on these changes by signing up to Transport Canberra’s weekly e-news and following them on social media for regular updates or by calling the MyWay Administration Office on (02) 6207 7711.

Your ACT Seniors Card can still be used as a flash card for discounts and concessions on local and interstate transport.
